Masso Altare guided tour
Book a guided tour to immerse yourself in a unique natural and spiritual context. A journey through prehistory, archeology and myth, to discover the latest studies and archaeological findings of the Rocceré, the ancient animist rituals and some ancestral sounds. The tour is from 9.00 to 16.00, includes Masso Altare, Roccias Fenestre, solar calendar, Throne of the King, Balmascura cave and can be scheduled on request from May to November, every day by reservation. Shuttle service on request, discounts for groups, children and teenagers under 15 years. The visit to the refuge-museum is included.
Reserved area:
area reserved for guided tours. It is forbidden to take this route, unless accompanied by duly licensed hiking guides belonging to the "Amici del Rocceré" Association.
Paths
RocceRé ring
A ring surrounds the boundaries of the entire archaeological area of the site. The route starts from the pine forests of Sant'Anna di Roccabruna and takes us up to the summit of the mountain where it is possible to admire the famous prehistoric engravings, the Throne of the King and the Balmascura cave.
The itinerary, interspersed with wooden panels at the main crossroads and marked every 100 meters by red/white regional trail markers, has a difference in altitude of about 550 meters and can be covered in about 4 hours.
An averagely demanding walk that offers intense suggestions.
Free area:
the archaeological area is free for excursion visits in compliance with the regulations posted on the notice boards of the site.

Annual events
A nice opportunity to observe the spectacle of sunset and sunrise on RocceRé on two very special occasions. Convivial group dinner around the fire, and nightand in tendto.

Spiritual RocceRé
Guided meditation on the Masso Altare or other "sacred" places of the archaeological site. Possibility to complete the meditation ending with an ethical vegetable lunch and/or dinner in a local restaurant.
